ROYAL GUPPYmignon pellet

This is going to be my new regular food for my guppies. Literally no waste. They eat all of it way before it sinks to the bottom. It's got the consistency of a medium course sand, so the holes in the lid work great to keep you from putting out too much. I had to use a toothpick to open up the rest of the holes though. When you first open it, only one of the many are open. The food mostly floats. I'd say 10% of it sinks immediately, but the fish eat it all from the top so fast it doesn't have time to sink, and the 10% that does sink, gets eaten up pretty fast too, so no real waste unlike regular flake food. The pieces are small enough that even the baby guppies have no trouble eating it. I however have baby guppie food that is the same brand but it's more like a powder. Still great for the babies too. This type and brand of food is by far the best that I have tried. At the price point, you can't go wrong. Beware that when you pull the tab to open it the first time, it will break. I used as sharp knife to separate it enough to open it though, so no big deal. Just an FYI for the company if they ever ask.

I bought Ultra Fresh Royal Guppy Mignon Pellets thinking, “Eh, fish food is fish food.” WRONG. This is five-star fine dining for guppies. My little dudes and dudettes went from average aquarium dwellers to flashy underwater divas. They used to just swim—now they strut. I'm talking full red carpet energy.The second I drop these pellets in, it’s like I just rang the dinner bell at a five-star seafood buffet. One guppy actually looked at me like, “Took you long enough.” The fry are growing like weeds, the colors are wild, and the water stays cleaner—probably because they’re not wasting a crumb. Even my snails are jealous.Honestly, between the sword prawns, spirulina, and seaweed, their menu is better than mine. If you're feeding your guppies anything else, they deserve better—and they know it. This stuff? It’s guppy luxury. I’m just the humble butler.Lol, in all seriousness, this is real good Guppy Food. My guppies love it and are truly thriving from it. The ingredients are premium, and my guppies are always asking for more.

High quality fish food for guppies but can also work great for other small fish like endler's and mosquito fish, my mosquito fish loved them a lot and it made them grow up good and healthy and they started to give birth to baby fish fry, so once the baby fish came along I bought the baby fish fry food from this brand as well. I also use the same brand for my turtles since they also make turtle food, there is so many aquatic animal foods that are made by this brand and so far in my experience all of them done so good for me so far, this brand has good ingredients in all of their products and none of their food makes the water all messy and stinky and it helps put on good growth and the fishes I have seem more vibrant in color when eating food from this brand. This is my number one favorite brand for all aquatic pets I own. Would definitely continue to buy them for as long as I own some type of aquatic pet, and I would recommend this brand for anyone who has a aquatic pet, gives good nutrition so your pets live a good healthy life.

The lid comes with a pull strip so the product is sealed and tamper resistant. Inside the cap is a sprinkle filter like you see on cooking spices and herbs. One of the holes was open already, and that's all I need. I think if you open others, you will risk putting too much product in your tank and overfeeding. That could cause problems for your cycle and harm your water parameters.I wouldn't really characterize the food as pellets, but more like very tiny grains or flakes. As others have commented, some of the food sinks but most of it floats. My guppies eat it right up though my neons and lampeyes prefer the dropping pieces. I recommend feeding more than one kind of food for a well-rounded diet. My guppies get flakes in addition to these "pellets" on a rotating basis, with occasional daphnia, brine shrimp, and blood worm pieces mixed in as treats. My fish are strong and healthy with no signs of illness or bloat after eating this food. I would (and will) buy it again!

First of all my fish love it. Not just the guppies, all of them. They gobble it up in a frenzy. From an aquarium keepers point of view this is a clean form of food for your pets. Meaning it doesn't scatter,sink & break-down like fish flakes, which helps keep down the ammonia in your tank. It's also much easier to do controlled feeding so as nothing is wasted or leftover to turn into ammonia either. I also enjoy watching my fish eat so I just sprinkle a little at a time. These pellets are designed to float for a period of time as guppies are generally top feeders. They do sink eventually though if left uneaten. What I do though is sprinkle a good bit in one place & give it a gentle touch with my finger so that some of the pellets sink for my middle & bottom feeders. If you're looking for a fish food that your fish will like & at the same time help you maintain a clean environment for your guys this is it. A good purchase that I'll be making again.

We were feeding them another type/brand food, and the first time they had this food, they went crazy for it! I’ve been feeding it to them for a couple of months now, and they love when it’s time to eat still. I noticed their colors are SO much more vibrant now, but I even noticed after the first day I fed them the new food. My betta loves it too, and he was all white. Now, I see pink streaks and a pink tint on his body. All my babies eat the guppy fry food from this brand now too, and they develop color SO early on and LOVE meal times too. Super high quality! Doesn’t dirty the tank, and the fish love it! 10/10

Our fish love this food! We have small tetras in our tank, and we had a difficult time finding food that they would eat. This is a micro pellet, which they are able to easily eat. Some of the other pellets were too large for their small mouths. It is slow sinking, and the fish are able to find it with ease.the bottle has two ways to dispense food, a large mouth or smaller holes. We chose to use the smaller holes. This food is 100% all natural protein from fresh meat, vegetables and seaweed and it contains over 3 million CFUIG of multi strain probiotics. Our fish seem happy!

My fish love it, and the ingredient list is impressive. I would like to see it available in a smaller size however, because foods often become stale long before my fish come anywhere near finishing the can. I hate throwing out the remainder, but the fish just don't eat it with the same gusto once it begins to smell a bit old. I have found that this applies to most brands of fish food. It's more economical, in the long run, to buy smaller cans. Product is a 5/5 but more sizes should be available, hence the 4/5.

My guppies did not like the flake food I was feeding them. I decided to try this guppy food and it’s perfect for them. They eat it right up. The little pieces are the perfect size and they don’t dissolve to muddy the water.The pieces that they don’t eat, sink and are quickly taken care of by the clean up crew (shrimp and snails).Several people mentioned that the holes in the lid are closed. Actually there is one hole open in the shaker. Which is plenty unless you have a LOT of guppies to feed.

I got some guppies and guppy fry from pet smart and they were dull in color and not very energetic. I was feeding them what the pet store was feeding them. I switched to this about 22 days ago and they are full of energy, they glow and are shiny. The colors are SO VIBRANT now. I put the food in a fish feeder ring away from the filter and they do great. The guppies wait for their food at feeding time under the ring. I will definitely only buy this for my guppies from now on.
