I've been testing Ultra Fresh Shrimp Food for a while now, and I'm beyond impressed. It's a game-changer for me. I have a diverse shrimp population – Amanos, Ghosts, and Neos – and they all react to this food like it's the best thing ever. What I love most is how efficiently it's consumed. There's zero waste. The pellets are the perfect size, and every shrimp, from the largest Amano to the smallest Neo, gets in on the action. The bigger shrimp make off with whole pellets, while the little ones eventually share after a daily scuffle. Even the tiny particles that float off are instantly snatched up by my nano fish. Compared to other foods I've tried (especially those messy algae wafers), Ultra Fresh is in a league of its own. My shrimp even ignored blanched veggies, but they devour this! It's solved a major headache for me. I wrote the review below when I started to try this shrimp food. After several attempts, my shrimp started to like this food a lot. Now my Amano shrimp jumps out of its cave when I drop this food and take one for itself. My cherry shrimps love it and I think their color is getting more rich red than before. Now they (about 30 of chrries and 1 Amano) consume 2 pellets in about 8 hours. I'm happy with this product now :)***I suspect it may be due to how my shrimp were raised, but they just didn’t seem interested in this food. I have one large Amano shrimp and six adult Red Cherry shrimp (now down to four, but there are about 30 baby shrimp). While they would nibble on the pellet for a bit, they quickly returned to grazing on algae. By the next day, the uneaten pellet would start to mold, and I’d have to remove it.I’m sure this food works great for others, but unfortunately, it didn’t seem to suit my shrimp’s preferences.

I have a tank with fish and shrimp and a tank with only shrimp. This is the same brand I buy for the fish food, there's something for just about everything you've got in your aquarium! I have tried other shrimp food and they'll eat some but much is left over . Not with this! They eat this completely gone and leave nothing behind. These are healthy for the shrimp ( even my guppies and other fish nibble at it if they can get to it), the bootle shows exactly what ingredients are in it. They even began to breed more since buying this. (I have neocardiana shrimp). It came in a box with a small spoon to scoop out some pieces (depending on how many shrimp you have in your tank), and cover seals back right to keep it fresh for a long time. Great value for what they send lasts quite a while. They're small round pieces that are spooned out. Highly recommend for other shrimp keepers /breeders

I just got this in the mail today and tried it out with my cherry shrimp. I previously lost one due to a failed molt and I had one a few days ago that wasn’t able to get the front half of their molt off. Luckily I was able to intervene and help it get the remaining shell off. I saw this so I decided to give it a try. They didn’t seem as excited when I dropped this in their tank compared to the food that I’ve been giving them previously, but I came back a few hours later and one of the shrimps had molted right next to the pellet that I dropped could be a coincidence, but maybe it’s not I don’t know but for right now I’m gonna give it five stars lolUpdate: I’ve been giving these pellets to my cherry shrimp for 3 days now. Yesterday morning I found 3 shrimp molts next to the pellet and this morning I found 1. Definitely recommend these!

I've been using this shrimp food for a long time, and it's become my go-to choice for my shrimp tanks. My Crystal and Caridina shrimp absolutely love it and gather around as soon as I add it to the tank.The food is packed with protein and vitamins, which helps support healthy growth, vibrant coloration, and active shrimp. It breaks down at a good pace, giving the shrimp plenty of time to feed without quickly clouding the water.What I appreciate most is the consistency. My shrimp eagerly eat it every time, and I've had great results using it as a regular part of their diet. The ingredients seem high quality, and a little goes a long way.If you're keeping Crystal Red, Caridina, or other small tropical shrimp, this is an easy recommendation. I drop a few of these in the aquarium at feeding time, and the ghost shrimp come scurrying from all over the tank to get them. They will try to pick them up and get away from the other shrimp with them!I used to use a different type of sinking food, and they hardly ever ate the entire wafer. Uneaten food can cause issues with the health of the tank, so I'm happy to see the shrimp devouring all of these.They are a good size for my ghost shrimp. It takes four or five to keep everyone fed, so I can spread them around the tank if it seems anyone is getting overly aggressive.The shrimp are growing well and doing well, so I'm completely satisfied with the nutrition they're getting from the wafers.I will buy more of this when it's time. It's a really good value having something the shrimp will not waste.

My blue dream neocaridina shrimp love this stuff! So do my hill stream loach and my dwarf anchor catfish🥰 so i’d say they could be used for them too i didn’t initially start off giving them some - however my catfish are nocturnal fish and they went crazy for this when i dropped in the shrimp feeding bowl and so did my hillstream loach! 10/10 recommend 🤝 (my betta loves to be the star of the show pls omit him from this lol)My baby boy Luca (the loach) is so shy but he’s such a cool addition to the community 🫶🏻Also, it comes with a mini spoon! so cute it actually took me a couple of weeks to see it bc of how full this is! Appreciate companies not ripping aquarium lovers off!

I have noticed a huge difference in healthy molts, growing a lot faster, their colors are more vibrant and they go nuts over this food. Hands down the best I've ever bought! Worth every penny even though it's on the expensive side. I even noticed they started breeding again too! Would definitely buy again! Even my albino corys like it so you have to put it in a spot where they can't get it or feed them their pellet first so the shrimp have a chance to eat their food. The Cory's do make a mess when they find the shrimp food so be aware it will be all over your tank if they do. But don't worry the shrimp will end up eating it all and it doesn't cloud my water either.

My shrimps started breeding again after switching to this food!! like, I have to break it into pieces because they fight over it since it apparently tastes so good lol I saw a lot of people suggest it on Reddit so I decided to try it out and boy, oh boy do they LOVE it! They still get veggies and other snacks but this is their main source of nutrients. I even had to upgrade them to a 20 gallon tank since there are so many now, I am relieved to see them thriving again! Plus there is a ton of pellets in the container that you get, it's a great bank for your buck and obviously good quality!

I never heard of this brand before until recently, getting back into the aquarium hobby. I feed my livestock a variety of different foods and I decided to try this out. Bottle was smaller than what I thought it would be, but it's not that small. It came with a little spoon! Okay, that's pretty cool, I was kinda impressed with that. When I put it in my aquarium it sank right away and I liked that, too. My dwarf crayfish found them right away and they are happily eating it. Seems like it has good ingredients and I believe that I will purchase this again.
