My kids won 6 guppies from their school carnival. Naturally when they came home, they became my fish. I fed them tetra flakes which they didn’t like and may or may not have killed one. Don’t worry because the guppies had babies and now we have 20. I got these to give the fish variety & kinda like a treat. One disc is plenty for my fish so it’s going to take awhile for them to eat it all so for me it’s good value. I’m guessing it’s good quality & nutritious because as soon as I dropped it in the tank the fish went into a feeding frenzy. It’s like blood in the water for sharks. It doesn’t dissolve fast so functions well to give them time to eat. Happy fish.. happy mom

My 75 gal. tank with a full compliment of janitorial creatures, and peacock cichlids didn't hesitate to seize upon these medium size wafers. No cloudy water as a result. All tank inhabitants enthusiastic about one food source, no cloudy water? Yes please! 50+ years of aquarium keeping allows me to recommend this product without hesitation. Smaller fish such as neon tetras may find the wafer size too big. Plecos, Raphael cats, silly weather loaches, snails, Siamese algae eaters and adult peacock cichlids consume without hesitation. Excellent product with typical shipping time.

If I have to critique it. I thought that the pellets were going to be bigger. Because that’s what I’m use to seeing from other brands. That’s the only con if there were a con. Now the good, I originally purchased this for my plecos. But the fish love it!!!! My Cory cats and pleco never had a chance lol. I’ve never seen my fish all come together to the bottom of the tank to eat. That made me very happy. I’m very happy and pleased with this product. I’ve ordered the tropical pellets before and only have had great experiences with this brand.

This is my 3rd time buying this food. My cory catfish and plecos love them! My baby plecos have trippled in size in atleast a month of just feeding them this. I have one clown pleco, a bristle nose and a rubbered lip pleco that I bought as babies. I couldnt keep the other plecos alive using the algea wafers and bottom feeder food from petsmart- they just wouldn't eat it- they gobble this up no problem! Even my Cory's look alot healthier since switching to this food!

My clown loach has been finicky lately, after loosing his fish tank buddy of many years. He was letting his food spoil and I would have to use a net to collect all uneaten food. I decided to give this Ultra Fresh Algae Wafers a try, and to my surprise… he loves them!! He’s eating again! My clown is about 8yrs. old & I don’t want to loose him. I’m so happy for finding out about your food, I will make sure to order a bigger bottle next time :)

I bought these for my new red apple crab, Goony (short for Crab Rangoon) and they only grow to be about 2 inches so these were a little bit bigger than what I was looking for but I’ve noticed that he will take them to his favorite little hole and save them to snack on. There was a little plastic spoon inside the jar and I couldn’t get it back in after I pulled it out so I just keep it on my tray and use it for all the different food

My corydoras and bristlenos d oleo LOVE these and ironically, so does my CAT! lol! A lot in the bottle too! Just drop a few in and you’re good to go! They last got awhile and done break down in water immediately so your bottom feeders all get a chance to eat. I guess they taste good bc my cat goes nuts for them, there is no for when you open it, super easy to use and are a greenish color. NO ODOR! Great value for the money!

Great product! My snails and plecos really like it. They only eat food/calcium when I put it in a specific corner of their tank so I put a couple wafers there and they immediately go for it. My snails love it so much they won’t even let my boy pleco annoy them away from it & he really goes out of his way to be a nuisance when it comes to sharing these

Excelente le encanta a mis peces , es para los plecos pero resulta que a todos los peces le gusta jaja ese es el problema que los de arriba no dejan que los de fondo coman , tuve la idea de ponerlo en la noche para que mi pleco lo pueda aprovechar de este modo los demás no lo ven solo él puede conseguirlo por el olor , me funcionó esta idea !
