PICKY TROPICAL FISHBREEDING, COLOR-BOOSTING & GROWTH FLAKES

These Shrimp Delight flakes are for “picky tropical fish”. I have never thought to describe my fish as being “picky” but it made me smile for sure to think of picky fish. My fish did basically go wild and jumped for these flakes, splashing the water! The flakes are fresh and smell good, like shrimp or seafood, and not pungent. They are of good size, not too thin, not huge sheets of food, and they can be dropped in as-is. The food contains probiotics, which I have never heard of in fish food, but gut health is important for everyone. The flakes did not fall apart immediately and they slowly sink (if the fish don’t eat them first!). The container comes with a scoop to measure out the product and the scoop works well. The flakes are not dusty or pulverized and they do not cloud water at all. I have rummy nose tetras, roseline barbs, Odessa barbs, corydoras, panda garras and Angelfish. I’ve been using this food for about a week along with their brine shrimp food cube treat. I have always fed quality food, so I don’t expect my fish to gain more color but I’ll update if they either do gain color or if they lose color. I expect them to stay looking the same. Every fish in my tank likes this food!

I use a couple of different types of Ultra Fresh foods for my Guppies & Bettas. It is a brand that I have come to trust. I like their foods because they have healthy ingredients AND they do not dirty up your tank or make it cloudy. I saw this and decided to give it a try.Typically, I have to put 4-5 different types of food in our 125 gallon. We have a wide variety of fish in that tank. Angelfish, Electric Blue Acaras, Tetra, Mollies, Swordtail, Corydoras, Pictus Catfish, Barbs, Rainbow Shark, Red Tail Shark and a few different Plecos. I have NEVER found a food that everyone would eat....until now. I am still shocked by it. It feeds top, middle and bottom feeders. It floats for a bit for the top feeders and then slowly sinks for the middle & bottom feeders. They all LOVE this stuff. It apparently taste good because they go nuts over it. The size of the flakes are perfect. They are not too big for the smaller ones or too small for the bigger ones. Would I say this is a good choice for "picky eaters" Absolutely, 100%. The only ones who did not eat this are my Plecos. I have already bought another container for my other tanks.

Ultra Fresh Tropical Fish Flakes have been an excellent addition to my aquarium routine. From the first feeding, my fish showed strong interest and ate the flakes quickly, with no excess waste left behind. The flakes break apart easily, making them suitable for a variety of tropical fish sizes, including angelfish and discus. What really stands out is the noticeable improvement in color. After a couple of weeks, my fish look brighter and more vibrant, especially the reds and blues. I also appreciate that the formula is all-natural and provides complete nutrition, which gives me confidence that I’m supporting their long-term health, not just appearance.Another big plus is water quality—these flakes don’t cloud the tank like some cheaper foods. Overall, this is a high-quality, well-balanced fish food that delivers on its promises. Highly recommended for anyone keeping tropical fish who wants both health and color enhancement.

Fish liked this food! I cant speak on the taste and flavor of the product myself, but the fish seemed to gobble it up. The guaranteed analysis of the food was on par with a premium fish food. Good protein and fat content is critical for healthy and active livestock. The flakes were typical in color and size. The bottle is double sealed, so the product was very fresh!I have only been feeding my test livestock for a few weeks and there have been no fatalities or issues to report. The coloration active behavior of my fish has not changed, but I have always fed a premium food, so that is more of a testament that this food is effective at keeping healthy fish healthy.Overall, I would recommend this product. The price point of $7.99 is a little steep for the overall volume of food you get. If you can get this for around $5 or $6, I would say its a good deal.

Shocking! Ultra Fresh makes yet another food our fish, snails and shrimp love! We've used them for years, and it was a real treat to try this new one. Sardines are the first ingredient, and all the fish loved it. We have a big tank full of platys, and there was a feeding frenzy, as shown! Now, to be honest, they aren't the fussiest eaters, so that wasn't a huge surprise. Hopefully some flakes sank down for our corydoras to try, but I suspect everything was eaten up at the top. Not to worry, they get their shrimp pies from Ultra Fresh! Absolutely their favorite if you have corys. Our Betta is picky, however, and he LOVED the flakes. It was a pleasure to see him flare at the flakes and attack them with gusto! They're deep brown, fresh and crisp, easily crushed into smaller pieces if needed, and a really unique food to change up your fishes' diet.

This tropical slow-sinking flake fish food has been a great addition to my tank. The fish really seem to enjoy it, and I love that it sinks slowly enough to give everyone a chance to eat without everything sinking too fast. One of the biggest pluses for me is that it doesn’t cloud the water at all, which makes a huge difference in overall tank maintenance and appearance. I’m already a fan of this brand and use other varieties of their food in different tanks, so it was nice to see this one holds up to the same quality standard.Overall, it’s a great value for the money and a solid, reliable food option. I’ll definitely keep using it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a dependable tropical fish flake food.

The Ultra Fresh Tropical Fish Flakes are high-protein, rich flakes that are a huge hit with both fish and shrimp. A standout detail is the included small spoon, which makes measuring and feeding much cleaner and more precise. These flakes are versatile for any setup; they are easy to crush for smaller species, yet they soften quickly enough in the water for nano fish to easily tear off bite-sized pieces. Because the ingredients are packed with high-quality protein, you can feel confident that your livestock is getting the healthy nutrition they need to thrive. Across multiple tanks, the response has been the same: fish consume these flakes rapidly, making them a reliable choice for your daily feeding routine.

I have been using the Ultra Fresh aquatic turtle food as part of my turtles' diets, so I was intrigued by this flake food.I have a school of endlers in one tank, and a huge goldfish in the 250. Nothing fancy, but I like to make sure they have high quality food and good environs. This food definitely meets that criteria. It comes in small flakes without any strange coloring added. The size is perfect for the goldfish and only requires a little crumbling for the endlers. It doesn't cloud the water, and they must really like it, because it's gone in a matter of minutes. The ingredient profile is excellent, and while it's not the cheapest food, given that the fish love it, it's worth it.

I have been using the Royal Guppy pellets by Ultra Fresh since I set up my aquarium a couple of months ago. I actually have two tanks - a 10 gallon and a 20 gallon. So I am familiar with the brand. My guppies LOVE the Royal Guppy! So I was excited to try these flakes and see if my fish would love them as much as they loved the pellets.Well, my curiosity has been satisfied. I have given this to the guppies in both my tanks - adults, babies, and in between. They ALL gobble these flakes down. I love that these flakes offer complete nutrition and help promote more beautiful colors. I think any fish would be happy to have these flakes for lunch!

I purchased the Ultra Fresh Tropical Fish Flakes for my fish at home. This is made with quality ingredients such as real fresh meat, vegetables, and algae. It also provides probiotics that you can’t find any other fish foods. The product comes in a sturdy plastic bottle with a pop lid. It also has a small serving spoon inside. The flakes are fresh and my fish enjoy them. After feeding my fish for a week I have noticed a significant difference in their health. This food is a great quality.Overall, I recommend anyone getting this for their freshwater, tropical fish if they are looking for a product that will feed them well.
